20/20 VISION: IMPROVEMENT + CLARITY
Landscape architecture has always been and will continue to be about vision. We see and respond to landscape. We imagine what could be: normal evolves, clarity resolves. Do we resolve to improve our vision? Is our vision clear to others? How we see and respond to landscape, what we envision through design, affects the quality, value and associated experience of places. There is always room for improvement; that much is clear.
The OALA AGM & Conference will now be Virtual!
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, the 2020 OALA AGM & Conference, in its originally programmed format, was cancelled on March 23, 2020. This was a challenging decision not made lightly. For all COVID-19 Updates with the OALA, please visit our webpage here.
The OALA has been working hard to continue to organize virtual options for the OALA Membership to take part. Registration for these events will be sent by email soon, with more information be found below:
Educational Sessions
Coming May 2020
We are in contact with the keynote and concurrent session speakers for virtual webinar-style sessions. We estimate that the sessions will take place on individual days in May. Registration will be required.
OALA AGM
Coming June 2020
Council is reviewing the best options to hold a virtual AGM prior to June 30th (as per the OALA Bylaws). We will send further notice of this when details are available. We estimate the AGM will take place in June. We will send all information and how to register in May.
